The fifteen points known as the Amsterdam Affirmations were developed and released at the International Conference for Itinerant Evangelists held at Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in July 1983. The conference, known as Amsterdam '83, brought over 4000 evangelists from 133 nations of the world. These statements were individually and corporately affirmed by the assembled evangelists at the conclusion of the conference.
