The ironically named Hubbard Academy of Personal Independence (HAPI) is the Church of Scientology‘s main base in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Among other things, passers-by are invited to enter and take so-called “personality tests” — one of the religious cult’s main recruitment tools.

According to the HAPI website,

Established in 1968 by LRH, HAPI was the first land based Advanced Org in the world, and many people achieved the state of Clear and OT right here.

Hubbard or LRH refers to Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
