Scriptures for America draws protesters

ROSHOLT -- Holocaust survivor Henry Golde spoke to Wisconsin Lions Camp counselors last year when the camp hosted a group of grieving children. Friday, he was back at the camp to address a different group, but this time, he stood outside the gates as a protester.
Golde, Appleton, and 15 other people were on hand to protest Pete Peters and his followers, who are renting the cabins this weekend. Peters and his group, Scriptures for America, allege that white Christians are God's chosen people, and refer to African-Americans as "foreigners" and Jews as "the anti-Christ." (...) Pete Peters and his hate group adhere to the so-called ''Christian Identity'' teachings - heretical doctrines that place the group outside normal, orthodox Christianity.
