About JW Files

JW Files provides research resources on Jehovah's Witnesses

Theologically, the Watchtower Society (the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses) is cult of Christianity. Sociologically, the orgnization has many cultic elements as well. (Check the distinctions between theological and sociological definitions of the term 'cult.'

The JW Files site covers lots of ground, including:

  • the Watchtower Society's false prophecies,
  • its dishonesty toward the media,
  • an indepth look into the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses,
  • the Watchtower Society's control over its members,
  • quotes and scans from original Watchtower publications,
  • organizational changes,
  • JW's and child abuse,
  • a look at the Society and the occult,
  • an ex-JW corner,
  • and more.
