• If and when you opt for the ad-free site, you will not see the display ads provided by Google, Amazon.com, and possible other advertisers. Since these ads are loaded from third-party servers, ad-free pages will - in most cases - load faster.
• Resource text links to books offered by Amazon.com or other retailers do not count as advertisements.
• When offered, our ad-free option requires you to accept cookies from our site. We observe all privacy regulations.

Incidentally, if you wish to support this site even before the new design (and ad-free option) is available, we'd sure appreciate your help. Donations made after Jan. 1, 2004 up to and until the new site is operational will make you elegible for the ad-free option as soon as it is available.
