The word ‘theology’ comes from two Greek words meaning ‘God’ and ’study.’ Hence theology is the ’study of God.’
‘Systematic theology’ is the orderly, rational, and coherent presentation of this study. For instance, while information about the subject of salvation can be found throughout the books of the Bible, a systematic theology gathers that information in one place.
Many Christians lack a proper understanding of what and why they believe, and therefore are not doing well in the area of spiritual discernment.
