My ex-girlfriend subscribed to these teachings... suffice to say, she was never in touch with reality. When we finally broke-up (due to her dishonesty) she had the never to recite several passages from this author's teachings such as "I don't deserve this! I deserve to be happy!" or "This is all actually a good thing because I'll learn from it." Never did she accept any responsibility. It's a shame how this author attempts to trivialize major issues in one's life by giving foolish & ignorant advice on how to deal with those issues, but never gives advice on how to be a better person that will be able to avoid putting one's self IN those situations.

That's right Jennifer:
The only book we need is the Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16 said that all scripture is given by inspiration of God. The Greek word there ("inspiration of God") is "Theopneustos" or God-breathed.
Theopneustos is a compound word, with theo the Greek word for God, attached to the word pneustos which means “wind, or spirit, or breath.” It is his Word, because, as it said, all Scripture is God’s breath, or God’s spirit. When the authors like Moses, or David, or Isaiah, or Paul, wrote Scripture – that Scripture was God’s inspired Word because it came from his breath and was spoken by him, through them. "Let God be true, but every man a liar..." —Romans 3:4 John 8:44 tells us that Satan is a big liar, and the father of all liars. John 10:10 tells us that Satan's only purpose in life is to kill, steal and destroy! One of Satan's most powerful weapons against mankind is lying, which the serpent used to deceive Eve in Genesis 3:5.

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 15:58

Thanks for the review of this book.

This author says there is no right and no wrong? It's not merely an issue with semantics when the author says "it is wrong to judge others". It's also more than an obvious contradiction to the author's "idea" that there is no right and no wrong...it is a twisting of truth. Yet, the book "Conversations with God" is filled contradiction to truth.

There is good and there is evil...one need only look around very briefly to see both. Right and wrong are about the choice we humans have between good and evil.

It was aptly stated that there are similarities between what this author says and what the serpent told Adam and Eve: that they could be like God.

This author is a false prophet.

"false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, as so to mislead(deceive), if possible, even the elect" (Matthew 24:24)

Even the "elect" (all christians). Do not think yourselves above error or correction. Do not think that you cannot be mislead.

This "New gospel" is like serving the masses Pepsi all day, every day. It may taste good, but it's poison to your body.

“And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.” (Deuteronomy 8:3 (King James Version of the Hebrew Bible))

Manna is simple but sufficient, so is the Bible- the Word of God. Stop jumping on every new "Spiritual" bandwagon. The age old Lie is that we are little gods. If I was my own personal god, things would be a lot different. Get over yourselves people, Satan strokes our over-sized egos.

People feel they need to embellish, and Satan is happy to provide an embellished, twisted doctrine to fit our sinful desires. To cut our conscience and stifle the Holy Spirit, the Truth.

Cue the antichrist spirit that has been prevalent for centuries, but is making leaps and bounds in our complacent, 'good feeling' society. Hard work and discernment is replaced with "whatever feels right". Satan will always counterfeit God.

The watchmen are on the wall shouting to the sleeping sheep, "wake up!", the wolves are ravaging the flock.

Get back in the Bible, read the New Testament, really see how the original church is supposed to be. It's not bullied by authority. Paul asks the Christians to question and test everything he and others say against scripture. Be a Barean.
