Research, Apologetics & Countercult Ministry
Watchman Fellowship is an independent Christian research and apologetics ministry focusing on new religious movements, cults, the occult and the New Age.
Our mission since 1979, has been to fill a crucial need in the Church as a Christian counter-cult and watchdog ministry. We have three primary goals: to educate the community, to equip the church, and to evangelize the cults.

As a counter-cult organization, Watchman Fellowship primarily deals with groups, movements and issues from a theological perspective — but also takes sociological cult-like behavior into account.
By contrast, anti-cult organizations tend to operate almost exclusively from a sociological perspective.
For a more detailed look at these distinctions, see

Theological Perspective
Watchman Fellowship operates from an evangelical Christian point of view:
Watchman Fellowship endorses a biblically based, conservative, evangelical position, proclaiming that all must turn from sin to trust the death, burial, and resurrection of the second person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ, as the only remedy for sin and the sole foundation for true religion.

Based in Arlington, Texas, the ministry has several regional offices in the US, and one international office in Romania. [Locations
