Deism

Deism is a worldview. It is the belief that if there is a god he is not intimately involved with or concerned for man and the world, and that he does not interfere with the laws of the universe. Deism is a religion based on human reason rather than revelation.

Diskus

The peer-reviewed journal of the British Association for the Study of Religions (BASR). It began as a journal published on disk. In 1993 it became a web-based journal and part of the Internet Journal of Religion hosted at the University of Marburg.

Dogma

Doctrine which a church or sect expects all its members to accept in order to remain in good standing; or, one which a church or sect expects its members to accept simply on the church’s or sect’s authority. Adj.: “dogmatic.”
