Even long before Mitt Romney officially joined the race
for the White House, he faced questions about his faith
Romney is an active member of the Mormon Church - a religious movement widely considered by mainstream Christians to be, theologically, a cult of Christianity. [Note the differences between theological and sociological definitions of the term 'cult']
After all, Mormon theology - on subjects ranging from Jesus Christ to Salvation, and from the veracity of the Bible to whether or not God keeps changing his mind (he does according to Mormonism) - is vastly different from that of Christianity.
Evangelical Christians form a large voting block in the US, and in one recent poll a large percentage of people said they would not even consider voting for a Mormon candidate.
Mormons, meanwhile, insist that they are Christians - often pointing to the official name of their church, “Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints” as proof. They - and others - usually do not take into account that Mormons and Christians use the same terminology, but with vastly different meanings.

The video - which focuses more on Mormonism that on Mitt Romney - uses an interview Romney had on the Charlie Rose show as a springboard for conversation that includes Christian apologists Bill McKeever, Timothy Oliver, Matt Slick and others.
