He trully believed what they were teaching. For years it was just my religion. I stayed in regular school but missed up to a month of school three times a year for the feasts, but i always enjoyed the feasts. I hung out with friends from all over the country and they were people I only got to see then. But my father who became an elder soon learned that the others did not practice what they preached. We left when I was around 13. Ten years from when we first arrived, I don't hate the house of yahweh, but i try not to think about my time there and what happened subsequently. They will ruin you financially. I can only hope that whoever the spirit is that looks over us and our well-being protects my family that is still there. That's all I want. I would love to see them and talk to them more but being "excommunicated" prevents that, and I don't want them getting in trouble as they have before simply for talking to their family.
