May 23, 2006 - This past weekend churches across the country held premieres of a new documentary, "The Da Vinci Code Revealed." This high quality presentation has been produced by Watchman Fellowship, an Evangelical ministry recognized as a national leader in the defense of the Christian faith.

Featured in the documentary are experts in the fields of theology, history, and art. They include such prominent scholars as: Dr. Al Mohler, Dr. James Garlow, Dr. Darrell Bock, Dr. Gary Habermas, Dr. Diane Apostolos-Cappadona, Dr. Phil Roberts, and Dr. Ed Hindson. These experts set the record straight on the many inaccuracies of The Da Vinci Code. A preview of the DVD can be viewed at www.watchman.org.

Over 40 million copies of The Da Vinci Code have been sold and the movie made nearly $225 million worldwide in its first weekend in the theaters. This popularity indicates a willingness among the general public to consider the claims of the novel and its screen adaptation, which translates to a great opportunity for Christians to share their faith.

"As Believers we need to be ready to engage the culture. This documentary is an excellent resource to help the Church equip their members to do just that and reach out to the community", said James K. Walker, President of Watchman Fellowship.
