Janet and Anton Hein

Personal

Janet was born in England and raised in Ireland (and truly is Irish in heart and nature).

Anton was born (on a houseboat) and raised in Amsterdam.

We tend to speak Denglish -- a mixture of Dutch and English (nowadays with a few Spanish and Catalan words thrown in).

We are followers of Jesus Christ, trying to put into practice the two greatest commandments.

Our ministry is to help Christians and non-Christians alike move from a life of legalism to a life of grace and mercy.

Among other things we love life, good friends, excellent coffee, great music, spicy food (including home-made Mexican salsas) and quality wine.

Professional

We co-publish Apologetics Index, Religion News Blog, and a number of related websites.

In addition we publish several commercial websites on various topics. We also provide hosting services for a number of third-party websites.

Janet works as a social worker with an organization that provides shelter and other practical help to victims of domestic violence.
